WASHINGTON, D.C., June 29, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – A homosexual activist instrumental in the campaign to end the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy is Donald Trump’s latest pick for a senior position at the U.S. State Department.

The White House announced the president’s nomination of R. Clarke Cooper to serve as Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs on Thursday. It cited Cooper’s extensive foreign policy credentials, from his record as a combat veteran to his current service as Director of Intelligence Planning for Joint Special Operations Command’s Joint Inter-Agency Task Force, National Capital Region.

But the announcement left out a more controversial detail from Cooper’s resume: his two-year stint as president of Log Cabin Republicans (LCR), a pro-LGBT group dedicated to diluting and eventually eliminating the GOP’s traditional conservative stances on marriage, homosexuality, and transgender ideology.

The position for which Trump nominated Cooper is tasked with building security partnerships between the State and Defense departments for various security, strategic, and military purposes.

As such, some might dismiss his past activism as a factor, but the Washington Blade notes that Cooper has played an active role in the intersection of military and LGBT interests before. During his 2010-2012 leadership of LCR, the group participated in a lawsuit challenging the military’s former “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy against open homosexuality in the military, and lobbied Republican lawmakers to vote to repeal the policy.

A similar controversy is ongoing today, as Trump’s ban on transgender soldiers is currently working its way through the courts.

Cooper also formerly wrote a recurring column for the Washington Times, through which he attempted to argue that his pro-LGBT advocacy was consistent with conservatism. He also used the platform to launch personal attacks against conservative and Christian groups.

In one column, Cooper attacked the Boy Scouts of America for “los[ing its] moral compass” by excluding homosexual members in accordance with its Christian conception of being “morally straight” (a policy it has since abandoned). In another, he accused the National Organization for Marriage of allegedly “exploit[ing] racial divisions” because the group wrote an internal strategy memo about emphasizing minority communities’ opposition to same-sex “marriage.”

Rowland, a federal magistrate judge in Illinois who spent 12 years in private practice and 10 years in the Chicago federal defender’s office, was Trump’s nominee to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She stands out among the rest of the president’s selections for being an open lesbian who is “married” to a woman and has two adult children.

The Senate confirmed Rowland by voice vote last week, the Washington Blade reports, meaning no Republicans opposed her. Democrat Sens. Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth of Illinois praised the smoothness of the process leading to her confirmation.

The Bay Area Reporter highlights several aspects of Rowland’s professional background overlooked by Republicans, particularly her memberships in the Lesbian & Gay Bar Association of Chicago and Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, the latter of which called Justice Neil Gorsuch “dangerous” for defending Hobby Lobby’s conscience rights, has sued to attempt to force Catholic Charities to place children in lesbian foster homes, and sued Arizona over a law banning pro-LGBT prosyletizing in HIV/AIDS education.

The Reporter also notes that Rowland “has worked on several Democratic campaigns,” further suggesting opposition to the various policy stances and legal views for which voters elected Trump.

Rowland isn’t the only gay jurist with a questionable professional background Trump has nominated. Last fall he announced the nomination of U.S. Attorney Patrick Bumatay to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Bumatay is a member of the Tom Homann LGBT Law Association, an organization dedicated to the “advancement of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender issues throughout California and the nation.”

The Homann Association has staked out a number of left-wing positions, including disappointment that the Supreme Court upheld Christian baker Jack Phillips’ right to refuse to make a cake for a same-sex “wedding,” and “unequivocally denounc[ing]” the Trump administration’s ban on transgender military service.

President Trump’s record on LGBT issues is mixed. Exactly who is obstructing in this impeachment show?

The second impeachment article(ARTICLE II: OBSTRUCTION OF CONGRESS) released by House Judiciary Chairman Nadler (D-N.Y.) charges the following:

... President Trump directed Executive Branch agencies, offices, and officials not to comply with those subpoenas. President Trump thus interposed the powers of the Presidency against the lawful subpoenas of the House of Representatives, and assumed to himself functions and judgments necessary to the exercise of the "sole Power of Impeachment" vested by the Constitution in the House of Representatives.

President Trump abused the powers of his high office through the following means:

(1) Directing the White House to defy a lawful subpoena by withholding the production of documents sought therein by the Committees.

(2) Directing other Executive Branch agencies and offices to defy lawful subpoenas and withhold the production of documents and records from the Committees — in response to which the Department of State, Office of Management and Budget, Department of Energy, and Department of Defense refused to produce a single document or record.

(3) Directing current and former Executive Branch officials not to cooperate with the Committees — in response to which nine Administration officials defied subpoenas for testimony, namely John Michael "Mick" Mulvaney, Robert B. Blair, John A. Eisenberg, Michael Ellis, Preston Wells Griffith, Russell T. Vought, Michael Duffey, Brian McCormack, and T. Ulrich Brechbuhl.

In Article II, President Trump is being charged with asserting his privilege to deny Congress testimony and information about policy formation within the Executive Branch, a privilege recognized by American courts for 45 years.

Beyond its illegitimacy, the second article of impeachment is a supreme act of hypocrisy by the chairman, who refused to honor the December 5 request from the ranking minority member of his committee, Doug Collins (R-Ga.), for a minority hearing day. Clause 2(j)(1) of the Rules of the House of Representatives, 116th Congress, states:

Calling and questioning of witnesses

(j)(1) Whenever a hearing is conducted by a committee on a measure or matter, the minority members of the committee shall be entitled, upon request to the chair by a majority of them before the completion of the hearing, to call witnesses selected by the minority to testify with respect to that measure or matter during at least one day of hearing thereon.

Chairman Nadler's refusal to allow his committee's minority members a hearing day is functionally indistinguishable from President Trump's assertion of executive privilege, but without the legitimacy of court recognition. It doesn't even accord with the Rules of the House.

Chairman Nadler is interposing his authority to obstruct any meaningful defense of President Trump during the House impeachment process by silencing witnesses and denying exhibits that might contradict the Democrats' fanciful script — all the while charging President Trump with the very same form of obstruction.

The blatant hypocrisy of House leadership writ large in their second article of impeachment speaks volumes about the malign impeachment articles and the illegitimate nature of the House Democrats' impeachment process.

"I have made a number of tweets in my private capacity before I came to this job when I worked in the media," Goldman replied.

"As a matter of fact, this is one of those tweets," Gaetz said gleefully displaying the posterboard.

"You said, 'Nothing in the dossier has proved to be false.'  But in fact, the dossier said there was a Russian consulate in Miami, when there isn't. The dossier said Michael Cohen had a meeting in Prague, when he didn't, and the dossier said Michael Cohen's wife was Russian; she is in fact Ukrainian," said Gaetz, " so we sit here this day and you have a tweet mentioning a 'pee tape' while claiming to be non-partisan, hired by democrats to [persecute] the President. Do you regret this tweet?"

Like former FBI director James Comey before him exonerating Hillary Clinton for her crimes, then reopening criminal investigation against her thus causing many American voters becoming fearful of voting for her causing Trump to win the Election of 2016, DOJ inspector general Michael Horowitz presents us with a documented list of crimes, fraud, and deception in the FISA warrant application process by the FBI but then says never mind — these are  bureaucratic mistakes made without bias and without intent.

There still was sufficient predicate, says he, for starting an investigation and surveillance of Team Trump, even as Horowitz admits that the first FISA warrant, the one authorizing  surveilling Carter Page, was riddled with errors and omissions of key exculpatory evidence.  It was the first of four frauds committed on the FISA court, a felony.

We have confirmation that the first FISA application, at least, was based almost solely on what Comey himself called the "unverified and salacious" Steele dossier, paid for by the Clinton campaign and the DNC.

  Yet the FBI "forgot" to ask or inform the court who paid for it.  Former deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe has stated that without the Steele dossier, there would have been no FISA warrants at all and no investigation of Team Trump.  Ironically, this was confirmed by the I.G. Report:

The much awaited Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA)report, conducted by Inspector General Michael Horowitz, was released today.  It finds that the FBI would not have had enough claimed evidence to secretly surveil former Trump aide Carter Page, and thus the Trump 2016 campaign, without using a "dossier" of opposition research funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign.

In 2016, after Page left the Trump campaign, the FBI asked the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) for a warrant to secretly surveil Page.  The FBI said it was concerned that Page had ties with the Kremlin in Russia, but their only confirmation of these allegations came from former British intelligence officer Steele. Steele authored the "dossier" that alleged ties between President Trump and Russia. Steele was hired by Fusion GPS, a research group that received funding from a law firm representing Hillary Clinton's campaign as well as the Democratic National Committee. ... On November 2017, a British top national security official warned U.S. officials in a memo that Steele should not be trusted.  This information was originally published by The Hill, corroborated by Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), and mentioned in a filing by Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn's lawyers.  Yet the FBI subsequently applied for two more reauthorizations of their surveillance of Page. Yet Inspector General Michael Horowitz, while acknowledging "significant inaccuracies and omissions" in FISA applications that precipitated one of the greatest abuses of investigative power in our lifetime, dismisses them as showing no intent, no bias.  Nothing to see here.  Move on. Investigative reporter John Solomon begs to differ and finds that the odds of so many inaccuracies and omissions being unintentional boggles the mind.  Solomon notes based on the Horowitz report 51 violations of Woods Procedures to vet evidence, 17 significant errors in FISA application, 9 false statements, 9 inaccurate statements, 33 statements without verification or supporting evidence, and 4 informants used to target the Trump 2016 campaign.

Like Hillary's deletion of 33,000 emails under subpoena, Mr. Horowitz, this was no accident.  This we call intent.

The FBI knew that Carter Page was not a spy and was something of a government informant who briefed the government on all his trips to and activities within Russia.  Tellingly, the "spy" who allegedly triggered all this was never arrested, or charged with anything, and allowed to roam the globe freely.

The FBI knew that the first FISA warrant was based on a fraudulent dossier.  They knew that Christopher Steele could not be trusted.  They knew that Trump's political enemies financed the dossier.

Yet they plowed ahead through multiple FISA applications, knowing they were all based on a bunch of lies, that they were committing a fraud upon the court and  that anything  they did find in their "investigations" would rightfully be dismissed in a court of law as "the fruit of a poisoned tree."  All those who signed the FISA applications are felons and should be prosecuted.

A February 2, 2018 memo issued by the House Intelligence Committee, then chaired by Rep. Devin Nunes,noted that the Deep State coup against President Trump had many architects:

The memo states that Former FBI Director James Comey, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, former Deputy Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe, and former Attorney General Sally Yates were all required to sign off on the FISC warrant application before it was reviewed and ultimately approved.

"As required by statute (50 U.S.C.), a FISA order on an American citizen must be renewed by the ISC every 90 days and each renewal requires a separate finding of probable cause.

Then-Director James Comey signed three FISA applications in question on behalf of the FBI, and Deputy Director Andrew McCabe signed one.  Sally Yates, then-Acting DAG Dana Boente, and DAG Rod Rosenstein each signed one or more FISA applications," the memo reads.

The memo further claims those officials were aware at the time of their signing that the unsubstantiated Steele opposition research dossier, which was included to bolster their warrant application, was paid for by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Clinton campaign; but the application did not include that information.

They were all in on it.  They all knew.  They all lied to the court.  They are all, as yet, unindicted co-conspirators in this criminal plot to overthrow a duly elected president of the United States.  Fortunately, neither A.G. William Barr nor U.S. attorney John Durham, who has prosecutorial powers, is amused or misled by Horowotz's sophistry.  Durham said in a statement.

I have the utmost respect for the mission of the Office of Inspector General and the comprehensive work that went into the report prepared by Mr. Horowitz and his staff.

However, our investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department.  Our investigation has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S.

Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing, last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report's conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened.

Durham and Barr will not let this slide.  The parties concerned had better lawyer up.

(CNN) Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is expected to hold a final vote to acquit President Donald Trump should he be impeached, when a majority of senators believe his trial has run its course instead of holding a vote on dismissing the articles of impeachment, two Republican senators told CNN on Wednesday.

That's significant, because Republicans want to have a vote on acquittal -- to clear the President of the charges against him -- not simply rely on a 51-vote threshold procedural motion to dismiss the hotly disputed case.

The Constitution mandates 67 votes are required to convict the President and remove him from office, a barrier widely considered too high to be reached in this case.

One vote McConnell can't rely on is that of Vice President Mike Pence, who has "no role in impeachment," according to a GOP leadership aide, despite being president of the Senate with the mandate to break ties.

Pence's power, which applies to legislation and nominations, isn't in effect when the Senate is weighing removing his boss, an obvious conflict of interest since he would replace Trump if he were removed. Instead, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts would preside at the trial and any tie motions would fail.

One of the senators, speaking anonymously, said McConnell would not call a vote on a motion to proceed to the impeachment articles unless he knew he had the 51 votes needed to end the trial, which would then set up a final vote on the articles themselves. On that final vote, 67 votes would be needed to convict Trump remove him from office.

The other senator, Sen. John Cornyn of Texas, said it "would make more sense" to move to vote on the articles of impeachment -- with their 67-vote requirement -- than on a motion to dismiss and "decide this on a 51-vote threshold, with the potential tie and all the recriminations that would flow from that."

McConnell hinted at this strategy when he spoke to reporters on Tuesday and said the Senate would have two choices after hearing opening arguments from the House impeachment managers and the President's defense counsel.

"It could go down the path of calling witnesses and basically having another trial or it could decide -- and again, 51 members could make that decision -- that they've heard enough and believe they know what would happen and could move to vote on the two articles of impeachment," he said. "Those are the options. No decisions have been made yet."

Though some police are injust to varying degrees, all of them have a responsibility to protect all law-abiding and frequently-nonarmed citizens within their jurisdiction. As Solomon noted in the Old-Testament book of Ecclesiastes: "If you see injustice done, do not be surprised at the matter. For there are authorities over them, and there are higher authorities than even them."

Also, remember that Old-Testament patriarch David (who himself was the Lord's anointed per I Samuel 16:13) would NOT murder previously-anointed King Saul when Davy had the many chances to and seemingly deserved to murder or should have murdered (not simply killed) Saul. But David himself did not want to 'harm the Lord's anointed' (I Samuel 24:6,10 plus 26:9,11,16,23)...but instead left retribution up to God who allowed Saul to commit suicide while Saul was being murdered by an Amalekite (II Samuel 1:14-16) in battle.

Changes That Need To Be Made Pertaining To Law-Enforcement Surveillance and Patrols on Streets, Roads, and Highways

1. Unless a felony-type offense involving direct, obvious, and serious bodily or property offense is being committed, police, sheriff, and state patrol are not allowed to stalk vehicles in the dark nor with non-marked police cars at any time.

2. There should be no FIRST-offense MONETARY fines imposed for driving or vehicle violations which do not involve felony-type, direct, obvious, and serious bodily or property offenses. VERBAL WARNINGS must instead be given, and in no way recorded on the offender's driving record. For second offenses of the same nature within a specified and reasonable period of time, WRITTEN WARNINGS must be given and recorded on law-enforcement computers but not indicated on driving records of the offender. For third offenses of the same nature within a specified and reasonable period of time, WRITTEN CITATIONS must be given bestowing (though not "imposing") REASONABLY-LOW monetary fines and indications of the offense on driving records.

3. Those anonymous or passer-by females of any age, who with alluring attire (or indecent-exposure exhibitionism to varying degrees), seduce men to sexually molest should be held as accountable as the molesters, and the Old Testament has permanent marital-requirement laws for those who seduce non-married/non-engaged virgins of whatever accountable age. Women already engaged or married who seduce men not presently belonging to themselves are in effect adulteresses, and should be arrested and punished proportionately to the severity of the situation, while the men victimized by such sexual harassment must be given recourse to, if convenient or necessary, join with their own common-law concubines of whatever consensual age (with or without premarital-counseling interrogation exams).....rather than resorting to fornicating or adulterizing with masseuse or escort harlot-type prostitutes (or, worse yet, sodomizing with sex-sex homosexuals).

Some cultic false-prophet-type preachers babble and blatter that Jesus (as God) ordering us to Be perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect makes us nervous, causes us to sin, and disobey the Law (like a harsh impatient mother hovering over her poor-reader child ready to verbally pounce on the kid for the slightest mistake). Christ's words still stand - despite the stupidly and dishonest lies of religious heretics.

The Eiger Sanction
